So I've decided that one of my goals for 2012 will be the whole picture a day thing. I'm almost positive I won't be able to last the whole year, but I'm going to try my very hardest to post a photo for all 366 days. Also, I'm not going to post 10 photos on one day when I get behind, because that kind of defeats the purpose of the whole project, in my opinion. If I miss a day, then I miss a day and there's no making up for it. I want to see how I grow as a photographer throughout the year and how much I improve, which is why I really hope I will be able to stick with this and not get bored of it a couple of weeks in.
I know that there will probably be no one who actually reads my blog posts/looks at my photos but that's okay with me. It's more of a personal learning thing anyways. But cool if someone actually takes time out of their day to read my what will probably be a very boring blog.
I'm not very good with words, as you can probably tell, which is why my photos mean so much to me. They tell my story for me, so I don't have to speak. You can really learn a lot about me just by looking at one of my images close enough. Which is kinda why I'm scared to make this public, I'd rather it just be me who learns about me. But I think its important that people face their fears, so I'm choosing to face one of mine by sharing a very big, very personal part of my life with you. Not that anyone will read this. But whatever.
Anyways, I'm really looking forward to 2012. Hopefully I won't procrastinate too much with this and I can at least get close to the 366 photos.

ReplyDeleteSo I forgot to post yesterday... I've decided I'm not going to publish my pictures on a blog for this challenge. I took pictures yesterday but it was so hard to find time to get online! Good luck, and I hope you last longer than me! I'll keep checking in on ya :)
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean. There's not enough time in the day. Whatever you do don't stop taking pictures! Even if you never share them with anyone but yourself, always take pictures, and take lots of them. Then you'll get better in no time.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures so far Kirstyn! You are right that people need to face their fears. They say that we should do something each day that scares us. I hope you keep it up as many things in life become boring and we quit and then often wish we would have stuck with it. It is what makes you happy that counts.
