Day 89: Daffodil Month

I was going to wait until Monday to share this with everyone, but I got too excited and decided to share early! April is daffodil month and I have decided to donate 35% of the profits from print sales of my daffodil photos to the Canadian Cancer Society. Here is a link to where you can find all the photos that are available for sale: http://www.kirstynrathertphotography.ca/p412162988. You can buy your print right from that page, just click the photo you want to buy, then click on the buy button at the top and choose your size. If you have any problems at all, just send me an email and I'll help you out!

Today's photo is of Bandit sitting in the window watching me almost fall off the back of the couch as I try to get a photo of him.

Day 80: Spring

It's officially spring! Which means it is time for the snow to melt away so that everything can start growing outside and I can take photos of flowers outside rather than inside with them in a vase.

Day 79: Snow Blowing

This evening my dad was blowing snow outside and he called me to get me to take some photos of the snow flying through the air.

Day 78: Cat Eye

This evening the light was shining through the window really nicely so I wanted to take a photo of one of my cats sitting in the light. Trouble was the closest at the time, so he was volunteered for the job. Apparently he wasn't too happy that I woke him up from his catnap though, because he kept trying to run away. I continually brought him back though and kept snapping photos of him, hoping for at least one sharp one. This was one of the photos that turned out okay, and as you can tell from the glare in his eye, Trouble wasn't having quite as much fun as I was.

Day 75: Bubbles

For today's picture my mom was the official bubble blower. This turned out to be quite the difficult task for her since first she had to find more bubble juice because the first jar didn't have enough in it. Then she was dragged outside by me because I didn't like the background inside. When we were outside she had to look into the bright sun which caused her eyes to water. She did all this just so I could take a simple photo of some bubbles. It's a good thing I have such an awesome mom!

Day 63: Snow Covered

If you live in Manitoba you know that we got a bunch of snow last night and today. I trudged through snow up past my knees and headed out to take a few photos. This little guy was almost completely covered in snow!
